Jack O’Rourke announces Academy 2 date

After selling out his Whelan’s gig on February 19th, popular Cork singer-songwriter Jack O’Rourke has announced another Dublin show, this time in the Academy 2 on Friday, May 6th. Having released his debut EP The Other Side of Now, last year not to mention having his single ‘Silence’ used by Amnesty International for the Yes Campaign in the successful Marriage Referendum, 2015 was a big year for Jack. With his new single ‘I’ll Forget You In The Morning’, released earlier this year, and debut album Dreamcatcher coming out this very Spring, 2016’s already shaping up quite nicely for the young folk singer, who’s previously been compared to the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Randy Newman and Father John Misty. Having already shown what he can do live at Whelan’s last month, Jack’s Academy 2 gig is sure to be another fantastic occasion, so if you missed him the first time, here’s your chance!

Tickets for Jack O’Rourke’s Academy 2 show are currently on sale here for the price of €13.
