Entitled Mirrorwriting, the album has been 3 years in the making and is being billed as both “dream and melancohly”. The record cites R’n’B, folk, soul, pop and the blues as influences. Burial has worked on some productions and expect remixes from Ramadanman who has a track called ‘The Woon’.
Speaking about Mirrorwriting Jamie says, “It’s personal, almost therapeutic. I’m quite a private person and I don’t set out to talk about my business in public but when songs are done you can’t get around it. They are like a code, and all you need is a mirror to read it.”
