Kanye West joined by Jay-Z at NYC MoMA gig

This week Kanye West performed on the grounds of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Billed as Party in the Garden, it was the after-party of a fund-raiser dinner for major benefactors; an exclusive affair, intimate even, with only 1000 in attendance to whom Kanye had a message in an Auto-Tune drenched voice:

“Thank you for loving me when they told you not to love me, I’m sorry about anybody out there that had to fight for me. Do you know what it feels like to be hated, do you know what it feels like to be degraded?”

For the lucky few West played an hour long set including ‘Gold Digger’, ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘Flashing Lights’ an cover of Stevie Wonder’s ‘They Won’t Go When I Go’ before bringing out his Watch The Throne collaborator, Jay-Z for ‘H.A.M.’ from the project and Jay-Z’s ‘Empire State of Mind’
