Kristofferson’s last ever show raises €50k for Childline

As if we didn’t already love him enough already following the announcement of his three-night return to Dublin for his last ever show, folk legend Kris Kristofferson has now confirmed that the €50k proceeds raised for his final gig at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on Wednesday night will be donated to ISPCC Childline, a charity close to his heart. The appreciation will surely be felt when the 76-year old takes the stage for the first night of his sold out show later this evening, although we at State think he should consider temporarily changing the lyrics to ‘Mean Old Man. What You See is What You Get’.

Kris Kristofferson plays The Olympia Theatre Monday – Wednesday. The show is now SOLD OUT.
