Ladyhawke to play Arnotts

No really. To celebrate the launch of the Arnotts Project in the Jervis Centre in Dublin, Ladyhawke will be returning to town after her recent Button Factory show. Pip Brown will be the star turn at the exclusive invitation only launch party on May 8th (the same day as her Trinity Ball appearance) alongside electro pop scene queens Bitches with Wolves and Choice Cuts favourite, DJ Scope. You can register for tickets here.

  • Jaysus, that’s a wierd one. Though if she’s as oddly crap live as I’ve heard, she might as well play in a clothes shop.

P.S. She played the Academy in February, not the Button Factory.

  • Sorry – of course you’re right. We reviewed it – http://www.state.ie/blog/review-ladyhawke-the-academy-dublin/

I like her album a lot and saw her at the Academy. They weren’t that bad, they had to stop cause they had some issue with the drums like a drum trigger problem. That was a little amateur-ish. She sounded great though and I had a good time… I would go again
