Analog, a contemporary, urban music festival, takes place from Friday 18th July to Sunday 20th July as part of the ‘Down at the at the Docklands’ programme.
Analog 2008 celebrates creative, live music and this year’s line up promises a unique variety of new music from around the world, from USA’s Hal Wilner re-interpretation of sea shanties to Iceland’s post-modernist Johann Johannson.
The festival also welcomes Liars fresh from supporting Radiohead on their US tour to promote their new album. The band have stripped back the multimedia approach and the title of the album, simply called ‘Liars’, reflects the bands new direct approach. The forth full length album was recorded in Berlin and LA and mixed in London by Erasure and Depeche Mode producer Gareth Jones.
Liar’s play on Saturday, 19th July on the Analog Main stage, Grand Canal Square overlooking Grand Canal Dock in Dublin’s Docklands.
You can get an Analog Main Stage Weekend ticket for just €60 including booking fee from Ticketmaster.ie and usual outlets.
