Lisa Hannigan to embark on Irish tour

With news of a new album in the pipeline and set for release later this year, the inimitable Lisa Hannigan has confirmed a fairly expansive tour of Ireland that will take in 15 dates across the island from June. Hannigan, who has wooed us since first coming on the singer-songwriter scene has had an enviable career trajectory, with collaborations with artists as diverse as Ray LaMontagne, Richard Hawley, Herbie Hancock, Glen Hansard and Aaron Dessner – with whom Hannigan most recently wrote and performed at Cork’s Sounds from a Safe Harbour; Dessner’s pet-project festival.
