London five-piece Amber Leaves occupy a peculiar space on the indie spectrum. More soul-orientated than most, their blend of bluesy vocal melodies and atmospheric compositions paint them as a unique prospect so far – ‘This Ain’t a Love Song’ is just their second effort. Born out of a desire to build jazzy, laid-back indie-pop, Amber Leaves are laying solid foundations to construct an individualistic but wholly accessible sound. Hopefully we’ll be hearing an extended play sometime in the near future, but for now, soothe thyself..
