Listen to Si Schroeder’s new single, launch details

‘Jump Ship’ marks the return of Si Schroeder. In 2006, his album Coping Mechanism was nominated for a Choice Music Award and took the premier position in both Nialler9 and Foggy Notions’ Irish Albums of the Year poll.

Holding Patterns is the long waited follow-up, and you’ll have to wait a bit longer as it set for release later this year, but we do have a teaser. The LP is preceded by the lead single ‘Jump Ship’, a brooding experimental folk track, with strummed acoustic guitar, wistful vocals and subtle synth arrangements that swell into a droning electronic dirge.

The song was recorded in Asylum Studios at Bow Lane, Dublin and produced by Jimmy Eadie. The single release will be marked with a live performance by Si Schroeder and band along with special guest David Kitt in the Workman’s Club Dublin next Friday, July 22nd.
