Listen to the new Guns ‘n’ Roses song!

What’s that you say? The title track ‘Chinese Democracy’ from the long-awaited Guns album debuted today in radio stream form? YES IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Axl Rose started recording this album 14 years ago. Nevermind the arrests, the illegal streams, the soda promises, the music is all anyone ever wanted (but we do recommend the Slash autobiography).

It starts out with a really long atmospheric intro, some guitar picking and then a riff that sounds like The Darkness’ ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ before you hear that inimitable Axl wail. I won’t spoil the rest of it for you but rest assured the annoying ‘Music on Demand’ voiceover is not part of the song.

Chinese Democracy is scheduled for release on November 23, 2008 in North America.

Stream the song here.

  • Just working my way through the intro. Get back to you….

  • Ho, and indeed, hum. Not great.

  • a riff that sounds like The Darkness’ ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’

The correct answer is actually the Beverly Hill 90210 theme.

    Song is awesome.
