Earlier this week, old school hip-hop legend Warren G announced that he would be releasing a long-gestating sequel to his much loved 1994 album Regulate… G Funk Era. The project would feature contributions from the likes of Jeezy, E-40, Bun B and Too $hort. However, and perhaps most interestingly of all, the album would also feature a collaboration with Nate Dogg, using previously recorded vocals.
When talking to Billboard about the upcoming project, Warren G had this to say: “[Fans] have been asking for years; ever since he passed away and even before he passed away, they wanted music from me and him,” he said. “It was a lot to work on records with one of your buddies, one of your best friends who’s not with you anymore.”
