Love Live Music Day returns for 2011

Following its debut last year, Music Network’s Love Live Music Day is back in 2011 for yet another celebration of live music in Ireland. April 8th will see hundreds of events taking place across the country, ranging from big bands to buskers, hip hop to Bartok and everything in between. Key shows include Camile O’Sullivan playing an afternoon show at the Belltable in Limerick and Mick Flannery and the Dublin Guitar Quartet at the Sugar Club in Dublin that evening. There’s still time to get involved yourselves, simply register an event here.

State is delighted to be part of the celebrations once more, having staged our own show featuring Super Extra Bonus Party, The Cast Of Cheers, Take The Money & Run plus special guest Kyp Malone from TV On The Radio (see what happened here). We’ll be announcing the full details soon but the gig will be taking place at the Mercantile on Dame Street and will be free.
