Love Music Hate Racism gigs coming up

Love Music Hate Racism has two shows coming up in Dublin in the next few weeks, including the launch of a new fortnightly music showcase. The Twisted Pepper on Abbey Street will host a Sunday Session on Sunday, 22 November, featuring sets from Radical Picnic, Joyce and the Sonic Gypsies and Dermot Kennedy. And at a fiver for three acts, it should be bargain of the week. Doors at 8.30pm.
And on Thursday, 26 November the LMHR Sessions is launched at the basement of Le Cirk Bar on Dame Street, and it’s free for punters. Organisers have put out a call for musicians from any background to get in touch for the new fortnightly open mic events. Artists who want to get involved should email artists@lmhrireland.com with a brief bio and links to some tracks. Spaces will be limited so it’s better to email first, but there’s a chance you can simply turn up, plug in and play. Guests confirmed so far include Sweet Jane (acoustic), Sara Lou, and Dermot Kennedy.
