Lupe Fiasco looks for new Irish rap talent

Following a radio interview last month, Lupe Fiasco has headed the search for a new Irish rapper with whom to record a track. Talking to the Fully Charged show on Spin 1038, the US star said that “Lupe Fiasco is going to dedicate a verse to one serious rapper, with a serious song that we can all agree on…If you bring a nice record … we’ll pick the best one and I’ll do a verse on it and we’ll play it on the radio”. Together with Vice President of Atlantic Records, David Miller, the rapper has narrowed the entries down to the following finalists:

Pop Dogg featuring Raw Soul – Get Loose
Nu-Centz featuring Class B and Gabriella Marsella
Phrase – Wordplay

Voting is open for one week from today here and winner will be announced on Thursday 21 April on Fully Charged. Lupe Fiasco will record a verse on whichever track gets the most votes online.
