Mega gig announcement roundup: Dum Dum Girls, Twin Shadow, Mercury Rev, The Low Anthem, Glasser & more

  • Dum Dum Girls play Whelan’s on April Fool’s Day next year.
  • My Chemical Romance play The O2 on February 16th. Tickets on sale tomorrow. More info.
  • Kila play a Christmas gig in Tripod on December 18th, their last in Ireland until next May.
  • Mercury Rev will perform Deserters Songs in full in Vicar Street next May.
  • The Low Anthem play Vicar Street on April 21st next.
  • The wonderful Glasser will play Crawdaddy on February 24th. Tip of the hat to Jim.
  • Twin Shadow plays Crawdaddy next February 19th.
  • The Phantom Band play Whelan’s on January 19th.
  • Noah & The Whale will play Whelan’s next April the 3rd.
  • Explosions In The Sky return to Ireland to play Vicar Street on 16th May 2011.
  • Heathers play two pre-Christmas show in Whelan’s, Dublin on Saturday December 11th (€12.50) & Dolan’s Limerick (€9) on December 17th.
  • The Script, lovely fellahs that they are, are putting on a late night Christmas show for charity on December 17th priced at just €10. Deets here.
  • On the same night, Republic of Loose are promising “The Most Insane X-mas Party In The History of Human Existence!” in The Academy.
