MP3: The Flaws – ‘Change Clothes’ (Jay-Z Cover)

The Flaws

Millionare rap moguls and Monaghan indie rockers don’t usually cross paths too often but in this case, it’s so necessary. The Flaws cover Jay-Z’s ‘Change Clothes’ from 2003’s The Black Album, a tune which was originally produced by Pharrell Williams.

This superb cover was recorded for Phantom FM and was shared with State for your enjoyment. No guitars as expected just sweet grooves from The Flaws.

Also, doesn’t singer Paul Finn look a little like a young Jon Bon Jovi in the photo?

Cool…. reminds me of mix between Beck and flight of the conchords.

  • Shaaaarinnnn

Nailed it!……….Was just thinking the same thing,…Beck that is, not Jon Bon!!!!!!!

This is just brilliant! I remember hearing this on phantom and then trying to find it somewhere! Thanks for getting it up here! it’s a verrrrrry cover!

Have to say I didn’t rate The Flaws at all until I heard this. When they got their tune plugged on Euro 2008 coverage on RTE in June I’d never heard of them, but I had a listen soon afterwards. Average enough I thought at the time, but I heard this on Phantom this morning and the last name I expected to hear was theirs. Fair play lads, sweet cover!
