Nate Dogg RIP

Rapper and R&B singer Nate Dogg has died at the age of 41. The artist, whose real name was Nathaniel D. Hale, had been ill for some time after suffering a series of strokes.

Nate Dogg was a pioneer of the Long Beach movement, performing with Snoop Dogg and Warren G as part of the hip-hop group 213 before signing to Death Row Records as a solo artist, going on to release three albums.

Forever synonymous with ‘Regulate’ Nate is also remembered for his collaborations with Dr. Dre, having first performed on record on Dre’s seminal album, The Chronic.

  • Great information, I don,t know that his real name is Nathaniel Hale.

  • Marie

Not being rude but just pointing out: it’s ‘whose’ not ‘who’s’ and it’s Nathaniel D. Hale – can’t forget the ‘d’, dawg.

  • Fixed, thanks for the subbing Marie.

  • Hil

    Regulate still sounds great. RIP
