New Black Lips video – ‘Boys in the Wood’

Atlanta boogie-punk favourites Black Lips have a new album out in March and have now dropped the first taster from it, ‘Boys in the Wood’. It’s a slow song, it crawls at a treacle-like pace with that same ragged, boozy haze if not the barfight energy that has come to define Black Lips. While the video takes a disturbing, fantastical look at hyperviolent white supremacists as well as drug addicts, vandals and other such depraved creatures. It’s carnage.

The band’s first LP in three years, Underneath the Rainbow, will be out on 17th March in the UK, so the 14th over here in all likelihood. You can see the tracklist and the video below:
