New Irish music round-up: O Emperor, Windings, The Pacifics & Wonder Villains

There’s a healthy amount of new music from Irish artists doing the rounds at the moment, with some of State’s favourite acts posting and streaming tracks:

windings return with ‘This Is A Conversation’, the first single from their forthcoming third album on Out On A Limb, I Am Not The Crow. The band play the Noise Weekender in Cork, starting on Friday.

November 1st sees the release of a double A-side ‘Electric Tongues’ / ‘Erman Gou’ from O Emperor, their first new music since the success of debut album Hither Thither. Live dates are set to follow soon.

State Faces of 2012 Wonder Villains (pictured) have a new EP TV on the way, via Derry label No Dancing. The release is set for 29th October.

Recorded in-between sessions for the new Little Green Cars’ and The #1s’ albums, The Pacifics have taken one half of a new split 7″ single on Austrian label Bachelor Records, with Californian surf instrumentalists Thee Cormans on the flip side.
