Phantom 105.2 today announced details of its new night time schedule and extended morning show. Two new shows will be added to the evening schedule and ‘Finest Work songs’ in the mornings will be extended by one hour (10am to 1pm). The new schedule will air from Monday 3rd November.
The new evening show, Key Cuts, which will run from 8pm-10pm Monday to Thursday, will be hosted by Phantom’s Music Director, John Caddell. John has been Music Director at Phantom 105.2 since 2006 and for the past two years has also been presenting the stations late night music show ‘Bedrock’ along with the popular Friday night Classic Rock show ‘Power House’. Key Cuts will present the best in new music from home and abroad mixed in with Phantom favourites.
Phantom’s specialist music shows will move to the later start time of 10pm Mondays to Fridays. Metal fans can join Ray McGowan on Mondays for ‘Metal Notes’, on Tuesdays Jim Carroll presents a new show ‘The Far Side’ an eclectic mix of electro, grooves and indie music, new local music comes to the fore on Wednesdays with I-CON (Irish Content) presented by Cathal Funge, on Thursdays it’s the darker side of alternative and new wave with ‘Spiral Stares’ presented by Laura Lee-Conboy and finally on Fridays, Micko presents ‘Blitz’ a sonic riot with everything from punk to hardcore.
Film fans should take note that Phantom’s movie show, Cinerama, presented by Gavin Burke, will move to a new time of 7pm-8pm on a Friday evening with all the latest movie news and reviews. Cinerama
will be repeated on Sunday mornings at 10am.
