New Rarely Seen Above Ground – ‘This Winding Sheet’

How do you feel about a new seven minute long Rarely Seen Above Ground single? If you’re like us (and you’d better be), you will say thank you very much and press that play button below. Kilkenny’s Jeremy Hickey aka Rarely Seen Above Ground (formerly R.S.A.G.) returns as a collective entity with Colm O’Caoimh on bass and with a new single ‘This Winding Sheet’ that harks back to the sound of his first album, yet pushes the envelope into interesting electronic sound additions. Drums propel the song while all manner of interesting bleeps, synths, guitar, bass and eventually vocals, work around it. It’s lovely stuff.
