NI Music Prize to honour Ash

Legendary NI rockers Ash will be the latest homegrown outfit to receive the Oh Yeah Legend Award at this year’s incarnation of the NI Music Prize ceremony on November 11th, in Belfast’s Mandela Hall. The Co. Down trio will perform their seminal 1977 album in full in celebration of the award, which has previously gone to the likes of The Divine Comedy, Therapy?, Gary Moore, and The Undertones.

The Oh Yeah Legend presentation will be preceded by another award, the NI Music Prize, which will celebrate the very best of Northern Irish albums. This will be decided by an academy of local media and industry professionals following live performances by several shortlisted acts at the Mandela Hall.

Tickets for the NI Music Prize are £15 can be found here.
