Nigerian Independence Day Cork Gig this Wednesday

Nigerian Independence Day will be celebrated by Seun Kuti and his band Egypt 80 this Wednesday evening (October 1st) at the Savoy in Cork. Egypt 80 were the band that backed Seun’s Father (Fela Kuti) back in the day when it all began and Seun’s mother still performs with the band.

Doors at 8.30pm sharp.
