Noel Gallagher announces two solo albums, one with Amorphous Androgynous

Not to let his brother outdo him in the forging another career stakes, Noel Gallagher‘s solo career looks set to be a lot more interesting than Beady Eye.

Today Noel announced that his debut solo album Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be out on October 14th in Ireland (17th elsewhere) through his own label Sour Mash Records. It features ten tracks with guests Crouch End Festival Chorus and The Wired Strings and a band that a double bass player Mark Neary that also plays “saw, wine glasses, washboard and electric kettle.”

Noel has also recorded a second album in collaboration with Amorphous Androgynous (Future Sound of London) which will get a release next year. Tour dates are expected next year.
