Output Belfast reveal keynote speaker, open registration

Set to return in both its convention and showcase format on the 16th of February, Output Belfast have revealed that this year’s keynote address will be given by Bob Lefsetz, the world-renowned music industry commentator, in the MAC. Author of ‘Lefsetz Letter’, Bob is famous for being an outspoke commentator on the wider music industry, addressing the issues that are at the core of the music business: downloading, copy protection, pricing and the music itself.

Joining Bob to speak at Output will be London’s Night Czar, Amy Lamé, long term PJ Harvey producer Rob Ellis, Major Lazer graphic designer Ferry Gouw and a whole host of music industry names who will share opinions, expertise and offer advice to Northern Ireland’s thriving music industry and artist community.

Stay tuned for final details of the free music showcase portion of Output, which will take over a number of venues and highlight some of the most innovative and compelling music from the island. With likes of Nialler 9, Homebeat, The Thin Air, Touch Sensitive Records, and yours truly taking part, it’ll be a night to remember.
