Patti Smith to perform Horses at Kilmainham

The one and only Patti Smith has just announced that she’ll be performing her 1975 masterpiece Horses in it’s entirety at Kilmainham’s Royal Hospital on Monday, June 1st. The New York-based musician and poet is rightfully credited as being one of the most influential and important artists of the last century and anybody who was lucky enough to catch her at Electric Picnic in 2012 will surely attest, her live performances match the plaudits aimed at her in every conceivable way.

Smith will be supported by Spiritualized, Ariel Pink and New Secret Weapon. Tickets for the performance are priced at €49.50 including booking fee (a veritable bargain, let’s be honest here) and go on sale this Monday, February 23rd, at 9 am from usual outlets.
