PJ Harvey shares new track ‘The Community of Hope’

There’s always time for some Polly Jean, but aside from the teaser trailer for forthcoming new album The Hope Six Demolition Project, there hasn’t been a whole lot more from her camp, until now. ‘The Community Hope Project’, inspired by Ward 7, an underdeveloped neighbourhood in Washington D.C., comes ahead of the album’s release on April 15th, and while it’s a slice of typically infectious stuff from Harvey, the track hasn’t been without its critics – most notably from the mouth of D.C. politician and former mayor Vince Gray, who has said: “I will not dignify this inane composition with a response.”

Alright mate, whatever you say. Pfffft.
