Radiohead to headline Glastonbury 2017

The first headline act to be revealed for Glastonbury 2017 is none other than Radiohead, who will open the festival on Friday, 23 June. Following yet another creative marketing campaign of sorts, that saw the band’s iconic toothy bear logo appear as a giant crop circle beside Glasto’s Pyrmaid Stage, the festival’s organiser Emily Eavis said “YES! Radiohead will be back at Worthy Farm and we really can’t wait,” on Instagram.

This will be the first time that the band have played a UK festival since appearing at Glastonbury in 2011, albeit on a smaller stage as a “secret” act, and will be their third time headlining the festival overall.
