Rattle & Roll Club returns. Parents rejoice.

Having taken a break for the summer hols, Ireland’s first weekly dedicated disco for toddlers, pre-schoolers and kids is back to make Sunday afternoons a damn sight more interesting for parents and their offspring. Settled into a new home at the Loft at the Purty Kitchen in Dun Laoghaire, the Rattle & Roll Club offers kids the chance to bust a move on the floor to the likes of Sister Sledge, Culture Club, The Supremes, Dee Lite and Bananarama while the folks have lunch, enjoy a pint or read the new copy of State they’ve picked up there. Run by the good people from the Rock ‘n’ Roll Rescue Squad, the club runs from 1pm to 5pm, costs a fiver (babies and parents go free) and sounds like the best idea in the world to certain members of State.
