Ray Davies to release collaborative album featuring Bruce, Metallica, Mumford & Sons & many more

Former Kinks front man Ray Davies is to release See My Friends, a collaborative album of classic Kinks songs with a formidable selection of artists. With help from some friends, he revisits his back catalogue of tracks from his incredible song writing career, crafting new versions of his classic songs. Bruce Springsteen, Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody, Mumford & Sons, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Jackson Browne, Paloma Faith and many more feature on this diverse collection of material.

The project came about almost by accident, when he recorded a version of ‘Till The End Of The Day’ in the summer of 2009, with the late, great Big Star singer Alex Chilton.

‘See My Friends’ is out on November 1st. More info.
