Robocobra Quartet return with impressive new single

Belfast anarcho-jazzniks Robocobra Quartet remain a firm State favourite for good reason. At times jovially toeing the line between punk, alt-rock and furious spoken word histrionics, while holding a commanding grip on the oddest of sonic aesthetics, the Chris Ryan-fronted outfit never fall short of impressive. Latest single ‘Correct’ certainly doesn’t betray this blossoming legacy.

Taken from their forthcoming debut full-length, Music For All Occasions, which is out via Abbreviated Records on November 18th, ‘Correct’ pushes the boundaries of poetics and jazz, pummelling the ear with grinding bass-lines and lyrical epiphanies. Pretty breathtaking, we think you’ll find.
