Saplings school fundraiser this Saturday in The Button Factory

To mark the end of World Autism Awareness Week and to raise much needed funds for Saplings school for children with Autism, Darragh – a State writer who works in the school – is coordinating a charity fundraiser in the Button Factory on Saturday April 9th.

The line-up includes a grab bag of fresh Irish indie such as nouveau psychedelic monkeys The Gorgeous Colours, sunburnt country-funk merchants Oddsocks Revival and the utterly mental 90s cover band Attention Bébé. Tickets are €20 and available from tickets.ie.

Every last cent will go towards providing desperately needed resources (in this culture of cuts) for the kids in the school, and Darragh can attest that every ticket will make a difference. He can also attest that the school has been donated some pretty awesome prizes to give away to partiers on the night.
