Spiritualized prep new album for Autumn release, announce Royal Albert Hall show

Spiritualized are currently working on their 7th studio album. There’s is no title on the follow-up to Songs in A&E as of of yet but it is expected to be released in Autumn of this year.

Jason Pierce and co have debunked from Universal signing Domino imprint Double Six and to Fat Possum Records in the States. Double Six has Steve Mason, She & Him and Twin Sister on the books while Fat Possum is home to rustic Americana artists such as The Walkmen, Band Of Horses, and the late Townes Van Zandt along with The Black Keys and Waaves.

The band have also announced plans for a return to London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 11th, 2011 . Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 11th, at 9am via ATP Concerts.
