State Midnight Mass in aid of Pieta House

The State Midnight Mass is back for another year, again taking place at the Mercantile on Dame Street. The gig is free in but we will be donating the usual fee to Pieta House, the first centre in Ireland to specialise in the prevention of self-harm and suicide.

Our guests on 20th will be Popical Island’s finest Skelocrats, State Faces of 2012 The Notas, dark folk and blues singer Jennifer Evans and the romantic, dreamlike Deaf Joe – with other names to be added if we can twist their arms. The gig runs till late and State DJs will be on hand to see through to the small hours. We’re presenting the show in partnership with the Delphi label, who produced a fine compilation in aid of Pieta earlier this year and will be selling copies on the night – with all proceeds going to the charity.

Entry is free but please find the donation bucket and throw something in. Let us know you’re coming here.
