The Avalanches share new music; new album details

It’s been 16 years too long, but The Avalanches have returned with new music and details of their long awaited second album. Set to arrive on July 8th, Wildflower, a 21-track full-length, got its first outing yesterday in the form of lead single ‘Frankie Sinatra’, on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. Featuring MF Doom and Danny Brown, you can listen to the mesmerising new turn from Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi below, and do have a read of their message for fans – it makes for promising stuff. Let us know your thoughts.

UPDATE: There is now a video for the new single. Yes!
