The Beat headline RIDDIM Festival launch

RIDDIM (ROOTS INCORPORATING DRUMS DANCE IMAGINATION & MUSIC) is a brand new festival dedicated to hosting all things rootical in their elements through visual and musical expression. According to the organisers, the aim of the festival over the next 12 months is to deliver “a fusion of musical styles and genres, including Reggae/ Ska/ Dub/ Hip-Hop/ breakbeat/ Jazz/ Funk/ Soul/ Roots/ Folk/ Electronic Dub/ Dubstep and Drum n’bass which through musical progression have already been fused together in so many variations worldwide”.

The festival is officially launching in Twisted Pepper venue, Middle Abbey street, Dublin on Saturday 9th of April with the following line-up:
