The Beatyard announces preliminary lineup

Returning to Dun Laoghaire harbour this July 30-31, Bodytonic’s The Beatyard festival has revealed its initial lineup of musical acts, and it’s quite the list indeed. Set to play on the Saturday are Snarky Puppy, Lee Scratch Perry, Tensnake, Theo Parrish, Daniel Wang, Bad Bones, Oh Boland, and Stomptown Brass, while the Sunday includes George Clinton of Parliament Funkedelic (pictured), Roy Ayers, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Reeps One, Ben Bix & Feather, and more.

Also taking place this year is the ‘Eatyard’, in association with Just-Eat, which will bring a whole host of food vendors to the festival for some tasty treats; ‘Gamesyard’, ‘Banteryard’ and ‘Studioyard’, which will feature everything from comedy, design, science and sports to the Bernard Shaw Flea Market and much more. While the festival itself is kid-friendly, on Sunday there will be a dedicated festival area for children – so bring the weans and get stuck in.

Tickets are priced at €49 (+ fee) per day or €79 (+ fee) for the weekend and can be found here.
