A special The Divine Comedy vs Duke Special show will take place at Vicar Street in Dublin on Tuesday October 14.

The show is part of Amnesty International’s ‘Small Places Tour’ named in honour of human rights pioneer Eleanor Roosevelt, who spoke of human rights mattering “in small places close to home.” The -Small Places Tour’ kicks off globally on September 10th and runs through December 10th, artists around the world will perform live concerts in support of Amnesty International bringing the world a message of Human Rights through music.

It’s piano’s at dawn as -The Old Showman’ takes on -The Young Pretender of Ulster Chanson’. This promises to be a showdown of Proportions verging on the edge of being very nearly Epic! Come and Gasp at the virtuoso ivory tinkling and Swoon! at the vocal histrionics. Or perhaps Yawn! at the mildly amusing banter. Who will emerge victorious? The Hairy One with a penchant for Eye-Liner, or The Diminutive One who sings mostly about Public Transport!

Tickets on sale Wednesday August 13th from ticketmaster priced at €29. Supporting The Devine Comedy Versus Duke Special will be Dave Couse (ex A-House) in his first Dublin show in over two years.
