The Jimmy Cake, Patrick Kelleher & more play Temple Bar Gallery benefit

Summer Lightning is a benefit night for Temple Bar Gallery and Studios and will feature some of Dublin’s finest artists on Saturday 10th July.

Downstairs will see The Jimmy Cake, Patrick Kelleher and Boys of Summer play live downstairs while sets will take place upstairs from Skinny Wolves (DJ), Sarsparilla and Crayonsmith. Visuals on the night will be provided by resident studio artist Anita Delaney and friends.

Doors are open at 7.30pm, tickets are €15 and are available on the door with the ticket price including one free drink. All proceeds go towards Temple Bar Gallery & Studios:

Temple Bar Gallery & Studios is located in the heart of the city’s designated cultural quarter, Temple Bar square. The building stands three storeys tall and houses 30 artist studios. The gallery area located on the ground floor will become the main stage for the event, which aims not only to raise funds for the gallery but also to give the public a chance to use the space in a new way. It will re establish the gallery as a multidisciplinary venue, keen support artists from a broad range of practices. The entire building will be opened up with music and visuals on each floor.

Crayonsmith & Sarsparilla are both doing live sets, as opposed to DJ sets.

  • Press release was a bit misleading. My bad.
