The National pick the winning videos for ‘Exile, Vilify’

An unlikely choice for video game sountracking, The National’s ‘Exile, Vilify’ provided music to Portal 2, “a first-person puzzle-platform video game” developed and published by Valve Corporation.

Valve Corporation held a competition for the best fan made video to the song. The band helped pick the winner, and a very close second – 1.00000000001th to be precise.

The winner is a lonesome sock puppet, filmed & directed by C.F.Meister.

UPDATE: C.F. Meister is a Dublin-based artist and member of the Loud Mouth Collective – should really have recognised the landscape.

Runner up is dark animation by MikeMov89Portal2.
