The Return Of The Redneck Manifesto

Coming after their recent jaunt in sunny France recording album #4, Dublin instrumental marvels The Redneck Manifesto have pencilled in Saturday, August 29, for their first live outing of 2009 with a headling hoedown at Whelan’s. Expect to hear Redneck’s “hits” along with material from the eagerly-awaited follow-up to 2005’s I Am Brazil.

Also on the bill is young bucko Patrick Kelleher, who will be flogging copies of his swish debut disc You Look Cold, one of the smarter Irish releases thus far this year.

Times and prices to be confirmed yet, but don’t be surprised by an early start, as BATS will be launching their album at Andrew’s Lane Theatre on the very same night. Oi, clashes, nooooooo!
