The spectral DM Stith to play Crawdaddy

Indiana’s wonderful DM Stith whose debut album Heavy Ghost has been on rotation at State HQ will play Crawdaddy, Dublin on Saturday May 23rd.

Stith was coaxed into the studio by Asthmatic Kitty Records’ Sufjan Stevens, and My Brightest Diamond’s Shara Worden, on whose album he had assisted technically. His elaborate multi-layered soundscapes are overlaid with spooky lyrics with a spiritual and introverted current. Highly complex and beautifully textured, Stith’s creations convey an eerie but vibrant cacophony of voices from another world.

Indeed they do.

Tickets €12/15 available from Ticketmaster, City Discs, Sound Cellar and usual outlets.
