The Ting Tings return with ‘Hang It Up’

The Ting Tings are back. Again.

White and De Martino have yet to follow-up on their hit album We Started Nothing. Over the past year the pair had been recording an LP in Berlin, set for release early next year, but for some reason that has been shelved. Instead recording has resumed in the UK and Spain (thank you Bandcrunch).

‘Hang It Up’ is the first new music since ‘Hands’. The video finds the band playing to kids in a skate park, the song sounds like, well, The Ting Tings. With a hint of Dizzee Rascal. And perhaps, inadvertently, Billy Squier – though it is most likely a sample.
