Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players come to Crawdaddy

Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players are exactly-what-it-says-on-the-tin. Parents and daughter pop trio, who write and perform quirky pop songs to accompany old slide collections bought at garage sales, estate sales, and thrift stores. Their prime directive: to turn the lives of anonymous strangers into pop-rock musical exposés based on the contents of these slide collections.

Anti-folk singer-songwriter Jason Trachtenburg (dad on guitar, piano, vocals), Tina Pina (mom on slides), and Rachel (daughter on drums, vocals) have won fans such as Regina Spektor, Meg White and comedian David Cross with their completely original self-described ‘indie-vaudeville-conceptual-art-rock-slideshow band’.

Check out this unique show in the perfect setting of Crawdaddy Wednesday May 27th.

Tickets €12/15 available from Ticketmaster, City Discs, Sound Cellar and usual outlets.
