Video: VerseChorusVerse – ‘Inches From A Fairytale’

While the excellent new And So I Watch You From Afar single premieres on Nialler9 today, State is delighted to bring you music from the band’s Tony Wright and his new VerseChorusVerse project.

Tony himself says of it:

“Verse
Origin: bef. 900; ME vers(e), fers line of poetry, section of a psalm, OE fers < L versus a row, line (of poetry), lit., a turning, equiv. to vert(ere) to turn (ptp. versus) + -tus suffix of v. action, with dt > s; akin to -ward

Chorus
Origin: 1555–65; < L < Gk chorós a dance, band of dancers and singers Verse Origin: bef. 900; ME vers(e), fers line of poetry, section of a psalm, OE fers < L versus a row, line (of poetry), lit., a turning, equiv. to vert(ere) to turn (ptp. versus) + -tus suffix of v. action, with dt > s; akin to -ward

More Verse than Chorus, but he’s definitely worth mentioning.”

We say it’s a million miles away from what you might be expecting but we love it. The video comes from our friends at Bandwidth Films.
