Video: Glasvegas – ‘Daddy’s Gone’ live in Glasgow

If a zeitgeist exists in Scottish music right now, Glasvegas are it. The Glasgow band first turned our heads in early 2008 with an appearance at Pogo in January. The interest in the band was amplified by their placing at #4 in BBC’s Sound of 2008 poll. The band travelled to New York to record their self-titled debut earlier in the year (out September 8th) which features a re-recording of this song. They also supported Muse last week in Marlay Park. ‘Daddy’s Gone’ was re-released this week.

Evident in the video, the band already have the homecrowd in the palm of their hand. What do you guys think of these working class heroes? And please, no Joe Strummer lookalike remarks. We’re so over that..
