Nialler9 will be hosting a mammoth set in Odessa this Sunday to encourage people to do the right thing on May 22nd when the nation’s marriage equality laws are put to a referendum. Featuring 20 DJs playing seven of their favourite 7″ records – DJs and music lovers alike – the day will celebrate people’s love of vinyl as much as promote equality, something we feel very strongly about at State.ie. As of yet, the line-up includes Kelly-Anne Byrne (TXFM / Today FM) / Discotekken / Paul McLoone (Today FM/The Undertones) / Hidden Agenda / All City Records / Mother Club / Sally Cinnamon / Choice Cuts / Young Hearts Run Free / Nialler9 / Stevie G / Adultrock / Gib Cassidy (Elastic Witch & Girls Names) / Sweatbox / Una Mullally / le cool Dublin / State Magazine / Ships and more to come. Admission is free and donations are gratefully received so get yourself down to Odessa from noon and we’ll see you there. If you can’t make it but would still like to show your support you can donate here.
