Other Voices timetable released

As you all know, Other Voices returns to Dingles this 6th-8th December, with Mogwai, Hozier and David Gray all partaking in the trip down to Kerry. Now with the announcement that Willis Earl Beal will also perform at St James’ Church, a full day-by-day schedule has been released.

IMRO Other Room

The Viewer’s Choice shortlist will also be announced and put to the public vote tonight at 9pm on rte.ie/othervoices tonight. The winners will be afforded the opportunity to perform in the IMRO Other Room.

Music Trail

The Other Voices Music Trail will also make a welcome return with the likes of Come On Live Long, Maud In Cahoots, Slow Skies, Bouts, Hermitage Green, Leanne Harte and Little Bear all helping to kill time before and after the church performances.

Banter

Those looking to break from the music can find refuge in Jim Carroll’s Banter salon. The Irish Times man will curate debate and discussion at Foxy John’s on all three days with guests such as Eimear McBride, David Gray, Alice Maher, John Grant, Donal Ryan and Pat Leahy. That’s on from 5-6pm on Friday and 2-6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets/Streaming

Tickets for Other Voices are free and can be won through othervoices.ie and Other Voices’ social media, so be sure to follow Other Voices on Facebook and Twitter.

For those who don’t make it into the church, the live action will be streamed locally in bars around the town as well as online via RTÉ Player and on the Guardian website. Streaming will also be live direct to a selection of venues in Derry city including Sandinos, The Gweedore, Masons and The Grand Central.
