We Are Electronic: Traversable Wormhole and Ancient Methods land in Dublin for Easter

So it’s Easter Sunday and you’ve just wolfed down a giant Aero egg and a bin bag full of Maltesers. Don’t just flop down on the sofa and wait for the Simpsons when there’s 10 hours of techno for the taking.

Brand new Dublin electronic collective We Are Electronic launches this Sunday in Dublin’s Grand Social, with two Berlin-based heavy-hitters and a host of local heroes. The first night is billed as ‘Psych Ward’ and it runs from 5pm to 3am.

New Yorker Adam X will be playing live in his Traversable Wormhole guise, putting a face to the cult 12-inches he’s released over the last two years. It’ll be dark and spacey, snarling in all the right places. Berlin duo Ancient Methods will try to outdo their Life Festival onslaught from last year – tearing you a new one with jackhammer industrial techno and splintered beats.  It’ll be a marathon, with support from Sunil Sharpe, Defekt, Conor Feeney, Rob Maguire, Ruan Flood, Paul Farrell and Brian O’Neill.

Eager techno fiends will be rewarded with a complimentary drinks reception between 5 and 6pm to get the ball rolling, and the docs will be prescribing a free ‘medicine shot’ for all patients, best get it down the hatch.

Tickets are are €13.50 presale from Resident Advisor or sign up here for reduced admission.
