Whelan’s To Celebrate 25 Years with Longitude Stage

To help celebrate 25 years as one of Dublin’s most famous live music venues, Whelans will take over the 2000 capacity Woodlands Stage at this weekend’s Longitude festival. Rebranded as the Whelans25 Live Stage, and in keeping with the quality of acts we’ve come to expect from both parties, the stage will feature some pretty big hitters.

Citing the diversity and quality of the festival as their reason to get involved, the Whelans25 Live Stage features performances from Parquet Courts, Bipolar Sunshine, Afghan Whigs, Conor Oberst, Samaris, Eagulls, San Fermin and Son Lux. Rumours of free birthday cake are unfounded…
